Our schools before nationalization
Alumni
The De La Salle Brothers have served in Eritrea for many years through schools that combine academic excellence, Christian values, and practical skills development. Their educational ministry continues to empower young people while responding to the needs of local communities.
Our institutions before nationalization included St. Joseph, Keren, a well-established school recognised for its strong educational tradition; Nativity Shinara Primary School, which provides quality foundational education to young learners; and Hagaz Agro Technical School, where students gain vocational and agricultural skills that promote self-reliance and sustainable community development.
"Education that nurtures knowledge, faith, and practical skills transforms both individuals and communities."
Together, these schools embodied the Lasallian mission of making quality education accessible while fostering integrity, service, and hope for future generations. Through academic learning and vocational formation, they continue to contribute to the social and economic development of Eritrea.
